Corporate Fundraising

There are several ways your organisation can get involved in supporting children with disabilities or serious illnesses.     Alongside supporting some of the most vulnerable children in our county your business can also benefit working partnership with us. We are passionate about working closely with businesses so you, your staff and customers can all benefit too. We can offer publicity, team building and staff engagement opportunities.

As a smaller local charity, we hugely rely on partnerships so we spend time really getting to know what drives a business to support us and can meet your needs.

Talent Sure Recruitment are very proud to support the great work Amelia’s Rainbow carries out in memory of a very special girl. We can see very clearly that our support benefits so many local children and their families”

Choosing to support us will mean that you get a passionate and creative team working with you. No matter the size or goal of your business we have experience in building strong partnerships. If you know you want to support but need some inspiration of what you could do take a look below:

How You Can Help

Check out our business fundraising toolkit for all the ways you can make a difference:

Host a fundraising event – No matter the size of your business you can host an event for customers or colleagues. Bake sales, afternoon teas, organise a quiz night or fun day. Maybe a summer or Christmas party can boost morale.

Charity of the Year – Do you choose to dedicate your fundraising activities to a different charity each year? If so, why not choose a local charity you’re your support will make a real difference to. Our charity partners have benefited from the relationships and found working with us something their teams have really felt passionate about.

Challenges – You and your staff could take on a physical or mental challenges either individually or as a corporate group. Think Bournemouth 5k, Office Swear Jar, static office cycle or Taskmaster event. This is a perfect way to practise team building and have fun whilst meeting your businesses values.

Donations – By donating towards one of our many projects and appeals, not only will you help us achieve these projects sooner but you could also claim tax relief by deducting the value of your donations from your total business profits before you pay tax.

Sponsorship – Sponsoring one of our fundraising events like The Big Quiz or Afternoon Tea your business benefits from our extensive marketing around the event. The sponsorship helps us to cover the costs of hosting these fundraising events but also put your business centre stage to the attendees. Chat with us to find out what PR opportunities we have for you this year.

£-for-£ / Match Funding – Will you match the funds your employees raise in their fundraising activities? Many companies give a £1 donation for every £1 raised by their employees. If that’s not possible will you contribute or help publicise their efforts?

Volunteering – Could you or your staff support our events or facilities by offering a few hours of their time as marshals, raffle ticket sellers or by taking part in bucket collections? OR even getting the rubber gloves on and helping deep clean our facilities. 4Com staff spent a day at our Amelia’s Retreat helping us deep clean ahead of the new season.

Gifts in Kind – As well as raising money, your company may be able to donate goods or services to help us reduce our expenditure, such as providing printed materials, design or legal advice.

Raffle / Auction Prizes – We’re always in need of prizes for our fundraising events, so all donations are greatly appreciated. We need everything from smellies, booze, vouchers and for our auctions signed memorabilia, overnight stays at your establishment and especially money-can’t-buy experiences.

We love working with businesses and can adapt to meet your needs. We have worked with global, national and small businesses. If you can support us please can get in touch at fundraising@ameliasrainbow.org.
