ONE OFF DONATION
If you are planning to make a donation, we would love to hear from you to let you how the donation is being put to use. You can also donate online or by BACS. Any size contribution is welcome as it all helps running our services. Being a small charity every penny is going to help and they all add up! Our families can request a Rainbow Gift per 12 months therefore donations and gift aid really helps us support each family in a way unique to them. GIFT AID
Increase your donation to Amelia’s Rainbow without spending a penny extra! Gift Aid makes a big difference and helps your donations go even further to support people with MS. For every £1 you give to us, we can claim 25p! If you are a UK tax payer and that you are happy for us to reclaim the tax please request a gift aid declaration form from email@ameliasrainbow.org. All personal donations qualify large or small, regular or one-off, and whatever the method of payment. It costs you nothing and can even benefit you!
RAINBOW REGULARS
We receive several requests for support every month so as you can imagine we also need regular funding to be able to help us budget and anticipate future support. If you want to become a Rainbow Regular, you will be helping us to continue to fund the regular applications we receive. As a Rainbow Regular you can choose a regular monthly amount to donate and don’t forget if you’re a UK taxpayer we can claim gift aid on those donations too. Anyone signing up as a Rainbow Regular will receive a pin badge, bi-annual updates and certificate of thanks on their anniversary each year.
GIFT IN WILL/IN MEMORIAM
Leaving a gift in your will Amelia’s Rainbow can make a real and lasting difference to the community of families we serve. We have supported a family in every town in Dorset and leaving a legacy in your will allows us to build happier lives for those in your neighbourhood. Choosing to leave a donation in your will to a great way to support us. It costs you nothing now but ensures that you can make a life-changing difference in the future to many families in Dorset.
When making a will we recommend you talk to a solicitor and its easy to make provision to support us either by : a fixed amount or a percentage of your estate. When you come to make your will, if you’d like to include a donation please ask your will-writer to include: our registered charity number 1192079 and our address: 21 Daws Avenue, Bournemouth, BH11 8SB.
IN MEMORY
We appreciate losing a loved one is hugely difficult time. If you have chosen to make donations to us commemorate their life we will do all we can to make everything as easy and stress-free for you. If you’re looking to fundraise in memory please contact us to discuss your ideas.
If you’re organising a funeral and would like to request donations in lieu of flowers, we can send you collection envelopes or ask you funeral director if they use Funeralzone. A funeral director is usually happy to collect the envelopes on your behalf and send them to us along with other donations received. We then write to you with the total raised and let you know we will use your contribution. If you’d like to pay in a donation already collected please contact us for our bank details at email@ameliasrainbow.org.
